Bengaluru working professionals Sanghik : Dr Bhagwat says " RSS Shakhas bring in social transformation"
RSS performs two major tasks, running a daily Shakha that builds Swayamsevaks with a social vision and then bringing in the required social transformation in the locality through such Shakha” said Dr. Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday. He addressed a select gathering of over 7000 working professional Swayamsevaks at National High School grounds, Basavanagudi in Bengaluru.
Speaking on the occasion, he said, “A Swayamsevak should conduct himself in exemplary fashion and lead by example. He needs to put into practice all the values being taught in Shakha at his work place. A working professional Swayamsevak, by working diligently, promptly and earnestly, can immensely contribute to the growth of not just the company but to the nation as well. He is expected to involve all his colleagues in Sangh work and nation building just as a particular branch of RBI employees used to contribute a part of their salary towards Vanavasi Kalyan Project. A Swayamsevak is expected to practice the values he learns in one hour Shakha all along and inspire people by his conduct”.
Stressing on the importance of bringing in the desired change in society, he said “ Swayamsevaks should own the responsibility of turning the village/locality around them more disciplined, truthful and remain non corrupt. For this to happen, Swayamsevaks must first inculcate those values in themselves and then focus on others in society. People often wonder about even small kids being part of an organization that gave Prime Ministers to country. But we must remember that people appreciate Sangh for adhering to the values we preach and gauge us by the way we conduct ourselves”. Dr. Mohan Bhagwat concluded his speech by emphasizing the need to expand Sangh Shakhas and urging the Swayamsevaks to take up the task with renewed vigor.
