The centenary year programmes formally began on 2 October 2025 in Nagpur, in the presence of former President Ram Nath Kovind Ji and Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji. He also noted that a day before the launch, the Government of Bharat released a commemorative postage stamp and a memorial coin to mark the centenary year of the RSS.
He explained that during the centenary year of the RSS, two types of programmes have been planned; one aimed at organizational expansion, and the other focused on bringing together the constructive forces of society to promote goodwill and social harmony. In this context, Griha Sampark Abhiyan is being carried out. So far, in some prants alone, volunteers have reached over 100 million households and about 390,000 villages, while the campaign continues in other regions. During these visits, volunteers met families personally and engaged in dialogue about the RSS, without any bias related to class or community. C. R. One notable example came from a remote region of Arunachal Pradesh, where participants said they were experiencing such a sense of warmth and belonging for the first time.
According to Sah Sarkaryavah C. R. Mukunda Ji, nagarik sangoshthi have also been organized with the aim of bringing together the constructive forces of society for the larger good of society. Through both types of programmes, an atmosphere is being created within society to advance the broader goal of Panch Parivartan. These transformations include social harmony, awareness for environmental protection, pride in self and Swadeshi, preservation of the family system, and awareness about civic duties. Through these transformations alone, the nation and society can be made great.
C. R. Mukunda Ji said that Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji has also been actively engaging with society on these subjects by participating in programmes held in state capitals as well as the four major metropolitan cities. According to the data presented in the report, he interacted directly with citizens during programmes held in these four metropolitan cities alone, where he responded to more than 1,000 questions from participants. The entire question-and-answer interaction with citizens during these events took over 20 hours in total.
While sharing details about the expansion of the organization, Sah Sarkaryavah Ji said that the work of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh continues to grow steadily, with new shakhas starting in several new locations over the past year. He added that the organization aims to start more and more shakhas in villages and small towns in the coming years, with the broader objective of bringing positive change in social life.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has welcomed the efforts being made by the government to bring peace and development in Naxal-affected regions. The improving situation of peace and stability in Manipur is also encouraging, and he noted that RSS swayamsevak have played a meaningful role in these efforts. At the same time, expressing concern over the condition of Hindus in the neighboring country Bangladesh, he expressed hope that the situation for the Hindu community there will improve in the coming time.
C. R. Mukunda Ji said that the objective of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is to bring together the constructive forces of society and move forward in the work of nation-building.
